Rather finer clothes than most peasants, including relatively new shoes of leather, breeches and tunic of green linen, and a Dark Grey cloak of fine Wool, kept at the throat with a small clasp fashioned like a pig. He usually keeps a dagger in his belt and keeps a walking stick near at hand.

Paul was, and is, a swineherd from the fishing village that sits near the covenant. He is one of the more well-off of the peasants of the village and has for long years had a cart and oxen team he uses to transport his pigs, but also the fish and other wares of the village to Totnes or Exeter or other markets.

He has put his cart to the use of the Covenant and indeed since the covenant re-opened has found himself in the position of becoming wealthier from transporting furniture, paper, strange instruments of glass, or other bobbles for the magi than he ever did moving pigs.

A somewhat humble man, he has grown aspirations of a wife from a merchant family(his first wife died in childbirth, along with their child.) He also hopes to have enough coin one day to have a house built in a grander style than thatch, wattle and daub.
